It has been a long time since I have posted on here! A really long time, since last time was the "we're pregnant!" post and this one we only have 12 weeks left! We had our last monthly appointment yesterday, so now we go every 2 weeks. I can't believe it is so close! It doesn't feel like it is real. It definitely doesn't feel like it should be happening so soon! On one hand it feels like I have been pregnant forever and on the other I can't believe she is going to be here so soon. I guess a logical post between last time and this would be "It's a girl!", so I will say that now. :)
We just got back from Barbados about a week ago. It was beautiful down there, but it gave me a little preview of the heat I can look forward to this summer. Being pregnant is hard work! Oh and the swimsuit thing...I definitely got some looks in the prego bikini. It is all about being comfortable at this point!
I can't complain so far about being pregnant. I have had a difficult time watching the numbers go up on the scale, but I have felt good and have not had any complications so far. I will just count my blessings. I hope that me having an easy pregnancy does not mean an extra hard labor!
What do I miss? Most of all, running. I cannot even WAIT to run again! And red wine of course. I miss red wine too...and sushi.
We are still trying to decide on her name. There are definitley finalists and we will let everyone know when we decide. Hope this finds everyone well. I will really make an effort to post more often!
